ActiveState provides a variety of login security measures, including SSO, MFA, and 2FA. By default, users can log in with GitHub SSO. You can also use two-factor authentication to secure your ActiveState Platform account. Choosing to use both your password and the two-factor authentication code to access your account secures your account against unauthorized access if your password is compromised.
Our MFA is built on OpenID Connect (OIDC), an identity layer built on top of the OAuth 2.0 framework. It provides a standardized and secure way for users to authenticate and authorize access to their information across different services, websites, and applications.
If you would like to implement MFA into your organization, contact us at support@activestate.com or reach out to your account manager.

If your six-digit code is validated, two-factor authentication is enabled for your account. Two-factor authentication requires that you enter both your password and the current six-digit code displayed in your two-factor authentication app each time you log in.
